We just live once.....

We live only Once.....Life is just once....

Here we go.....

1. We know that the best predictor of human happiness is human relationships and the amount of time that people spend with family and friends.
We know that it’s significantly more important than money and somewhat more important than health. That’s what the data shows. The interesting thing is that people will sacrifice social relationships to get other things that won’t make them as happy — money. That’s what I mean when I say people should do “wise shopping” for happiness.
2. Another thing we know from studies is that people tend to take more pleasure in experiences than in things. So if you have “x” amount of money to spend on a vacation or a good meal or movies, it will get you more happiness than a durable good or an object. One reason for this is that experiences tend to be shared with other people and objects usually aren’t. Another way I follow what I’ve learned from data is that I don’t chase money now that I have enough of them, because I know that it will take a very large amount of money to increase my happiness by a small amount. 3. The data says that with the poor, a little money can buy a lot of happiness. If you’re rich, a lot of money can buy you a little more happiness. But in both cases, money does it.

Do what U really(?) want to do.
Man is a weird creature, I am a weird creature. There are times where u just want to get away from all the work, but when u finally do - u don't have the sense of joy that you were supposed to have. There are times where I feel my sense of unhappiness is because I read too much, learnt too much; I will envy simple life of my mom where it just work and family. Yet at the same time, I pity them for missing out on the chance to think about the meaning of life. How can you just lead your life this way where u know that there may not be any afterlife and you are just a body to carry genes? U can't keep working... You got to make your life purposeful.Yet 10 years after I have decided to make saving the planet my target in life, I realised that I have not achieved much. At times at night, I can't fall asleep cause I think about it. At times, I cannot sleep because I am too excited by the new schemes that I thought up of. I started out with the Chinese culture/thinking of leaving an impact behind and doing something for the greater society and hence I chose my course of life. In the end, I know I don't mind taking risks in life to make my life more colourful. Sometimes, it may be as simple as driving more dangerously. It is frustrating when I know I have meaningful frivolous stuff to do like tidying photos, tidying travelling memoirs, clearing bills yet sometimes simple online games at miniclip or simply the television seems like an easier way to chill out. It is hard to believe that sometimes we, humans get more satisfaction from a tiring/busy leisure session such as gardening, cleaning the house then really just sitting down on the couch. I guess there is a sense of satisfaction in addition to relaxation there. No matter how complicated or how simple you chose your life goal to be, there are probably 2 ways to be happy/satisfied:

1. Be contented with what u have.

2. Doing what u set out to do.
